Tentang Jurnal Ini
The Nouveau Law Review (NLR) is dedicated to the study of legal reform and the development of innovative regulatory frameworks addressing technological disruption, ecological transitions, and the evolving architecture of state institutions and the global economy. The journal seeks to democratize legal thought by publishing manuscripts that provide sound juridical solutions to the vacuum of law and the regulatory lag prevalent in modern society. NLR prioritizes forward-looking discourse; therefore, studies rooted in classical legal dogmatics are accommodated only when explicitly contextualized within future legal challenges.
To maintain a distinct scholarly identity, NLR exclusively publishes research intersecting with four contemporary pillars. Within the realm of Law, Technology, and Digital Innovation, we invite studies on Artificial Intelligence regulation, algorithmic governance, cybersecurity, blockchain, and the ethics of Legal Tech. In the context of Ecological Transition and Sustainability Law, the journal examines carbon pricing mechanisms, corporate ESG compliance, climate justice, and agrarian spatial planning in response to the climate crisis. Under Economic and Global Business Law Reform, our focus includes competition law within the platform economy, circular economy regulations, and sustainable supply chains. Furthermore, regarding the Transformation of Public Policy, Democracy, and Human Rights, NLR welcomes critical evaluations of digital human rights paradigms—such as the right to be forgotten—alongside e-government administrative reforms, evidence-based legislative drafting, and restorative justice approaches aimed at decolonizing the criminal justice system.
To foster comprehensive and actionable solutions, NLR strongly encourages authors to adopt interdisciplinary methodologies, including Law and Economics, Law and Technology, Socio-Legal Studies, and Public Policy Analysis. We highly value comparative law approaches that extend beyond normative description to construct viable, future-oriented legal frameworks (ius constituendum).
